Why did Charlie disappear....again

A simple question with perhaps a not so simple answer....why has charlie disappeared...again? I had noticed he had posted a long, long message.When i first say it I  didn't have time to read it thoroughly. I wanted to make sure I had time to carefully read every single word, which wasn't going to be able to happen then. The next time I log in here...gone...all of it, every thing, just...gone. Was the post a long good bye, were there clues within it? He has decided to leave his loyalists of fans, and for what?
